For our ninth project in 10 years of father-daughter collaboration at ABL3 Architects, we’re celebrating a design journey that came full circle: Start Point Peninsula.
Originally crafted for family members with a highly bespoke brief, this project was close to our hearts. When circumstances changed and the property was sold after gaining planning permission, we were initially deflated, thinking we’d never see it come to life.
But fate had other plans. The new owners, completely unaware of the home’s original intent, saw our design and realized—this was their dream home, too. With their green light, we brought the vision to reality, executing the project to absolute perfection.
This journey was a reminder that great design transcends individual needs—it speaks to a universal sense of place, purpose, and quality. A true testament to the power of architecture that resonates beyond its first intended audience.
