As we celebrate 10 years of father-daughter collaboration at ABL3 Architects, we’re highlighting the projects that have defined our journey. Next up: Hampshire Homestead for Three Generations—a flagship project that embodies everything we stand for.
This was more than just architecture; it was about designing a way of living. Two new-build homes, each with its own distinct identity and purpose, yet intrinsically connected—just like the three generations they were built for. The careful placement of site lines allowed comforting glimpses between the two houses, reinforcing family bonds while ensuring privacy and independence.
What made this project truly special was the incredible clients, who became close friends and remain so to this day. Visiting their homestead now, seeing how seamlessly these buildings work together to create a thriving multigenerational community, is a reminder of why we do what we do.
Architecture is about more than just spaces—it’s about the people who inhabit them, the stories they tell, and the lives they shape. And this project? It’s one we’ll always hold close to our hearts.
